I’m Jesse Johnson-Brower—Veteran, Entrepreneur, and Founder of VA Battle Buddy.
I joined the Army young, searching for purpose.
9/11 changed my life forever. I was a member of the first unit to respond at the Pentagon, and that experience lit a fire in me to serve with everything I had. But nothing prepared me for what happened after coming home.
When I used my VA loan benefits to buy my first house, I trusted the wrong people.
Predatory lenders and realtors preyed on my trust and lack of information. They buried fees, manipulated rates, and pushed me into a bad loan. Within a short time, I lost my home, my vehicles, and nearly everything I fought to build.
That betrayal became my motivation.
I founded VA Battle Buddy to make sure no other veteran experiences what I did.
Today, I specialize in VA loans, helping veterans, military families, and civilian homebuyers achieve real, lasting homeownership through compliant, transparent, and service-driven processes. Every client I work with is guided with clarity, respect, and long-term financial protection in mind.
While VA loans are my specialty, I proudly serve civilian homebuyers and refinancers with the same level of dedication. Because every family deserves to move forward with security, not confusion.
